Sariah was Milo's past love interest.
Appearance
She is loosely based on Snow White, with very fair skin, short dark hair, and deep blue eyes (made from fake gems). She wears a lovely pink dress with green trimmings.
Personality
She appears to be very innocent and naive. Since she only appears once, this is all that is known about her.
Role
Milo is in love with her, and the Skin-Taker makes him kill her to prove his loyalty. At first, Milo can't bring himself to do it, but he convinces himself it will be worth it.
After her death, even the Skin-Taker seems to pity her fate, and tries to comfort her dead soul by informing her that someone would eventually kill Milo.
Trivia
- She actually was a Snow White cloth doll, but was reworked to avoid copyright issues with Disney, and to make her appear to be a different character. She was an old keepsake belonging to Mary Prescott.
- The doll was not actually torn up, but a previously used doll skin was used as a "stunt double" to avoid destroying the doll, since it was important to Mary Prescott. If you look closely, the "skin" is darker than Sariah's, and covered in dust.
